Iain Noble purchased 20000 acres on land on Skye in 1972 and founded the independent bottler Pràbhan na Linne in 1976.
He sadly died in 2010 before he could realise his plans for a distillery on Raasay.
The Dutch company Marussia Beverages took the planned site over and spent 3 years rebuilding...
