Notes:
Due to excessive production and a lack of affordable warehousing space, the distillery closed from July 2008 until March 2009
70% of the total production is used for single malt
Three whiskies are produced - Springbank (mild peat, distilled two-and-a-half times), Longrow (heavy peat, distilled twice) and Hazelburn (no peat, distilled three times)
The distillery is still owned by the same family that founded it
All maturation and bottling is done on site
Wash still fired by open oil fire and internal steam coils - this is unique
They still cut their own peat and malt the barley themselves
